how do i figure this out?

so i got the vin for this truck its a biggin, but i cant figure out where to find out what it means so i dont know what year it is or anything i think its a 72 but i dont know. anyone got any suggestions C61CVM75183 model 0611 and body 4A8

the reason i ask is that this sounds like something from outside the usa. and those numbers i can't tell anything about. unless its a f1000 or something large like that with a louisville cab on it.

i believe its from cali im in san diego and its a huge truck like a F600

this is all i can point you to but it says nothing about those numbers you posted. has the vin been replaced by the state for some reason?

i couldnt tell you some one gave me this truck and said its been on there property for ever and if you can get it running you can have it lol

at my local junk yard is a f500 and it has the regular type of number son it so i'm just not sure what to tell you on that. but the one here i think is a 68 or 69.

By the VIN it's a '72 C600 Tilt Cab w/ a 330MD from the then-new Kentucky plant where they were all built. Consecutive Unit Numbers are the same for all trucks so Sept. 1971 (see the notes below the table). "611" is the Model Code for a 22,000 GVW rating.

sweet thanks guys i just need to look around online to find a wire diagram my father inlaw is trying to trouble shoot a couple problems. FORDification RULEZ 8)
