Greasy rear drums

Post by phoelsch »

I was replacing my U-joints last night and when I was under my truck I noticed, what I thought at the time, brake fluid all over my rear drums and on my tires. When I removed the wheel and drum it was actually grease. I don't have a clue where it may have come from. It was all over the inside of the of the drum. More on the rear left than on the right. Any thoughts?

You've probably got rear axel seals that are leaking.
