:maybe: I might know where a 1967 aluminum grill is, and maybe a 1969 too.

Naw. I would never insinuate that procurement from my driveway would be in my best interest, only the buyers. :P
Although it just so happens that I am about to get rid of things I don't need such as a 1969 step side. It's got a nice grill.

It was the original that was on my truck before I found the steel one I have now. I am not sure I want to part with that. The '69 grill is in great shape though and could find another home.

I'm getting a power draw on the driver side front headlight somewhere. And the same side park light is dead.
And my brake lights do not turn on when I hIt the brake peddle.
Aaand the dash lights don't work
Aaaaand the right signal does not work when the lights are on.
Aaaaaaaaand the left rear signal lights up when I put on the right and visa versa.
*sigh*

A few of these came with the truck when I bought it.

I'm guessing bad ground and or a short drawing of something .

Any advice would be awesome

Yuk! I hate those kind of wiring harness issues. This is where a lot of patience is needed to get this fixed.

There are 4 harnesses in your truck.

1. Passenger side (plugs into inside)
2. Driver side (plugs into inside)
3. Rear (plugs into driver side)
4. Inside (under dash)

What I would do first is start by checking the entire harness from the cab to the lights on both the passenger and driver side. They are exposed to the elements plus the heat of the engine and will be in worse shape than what is in the cab. After that I would turn toward the harness to the rear to of the truck that plugs into the driver side harness under the hood. Of course your problem could be in the cab (which would be the last harness to pursue) but most the time it will be under the hood.

I would start with driver side cause it is the easiest and you will get a feel for it before the passenger side which has all kinds of stuff going on. Unplug the harness just inside the cab where it passes through the fire wall and carefully pull out the the cab seal grommet. Get the whole thing out by disconnecting the accessories along the way to the head lights.

Once you have it all out. Unwrap the harness and inspect it THROUGHLY. Look for cracks in wires, burned insulation, brittle wire, connections that don't look factory. If you strip a wire and it looks like it has corrosion under the insulation, water has gotten into it and you have to trace that wire back a replace the whole wire. Check all end connection where they plug in to something (like a relay or solenoid) because these get worked back and forth which is not good for 45 year old wire. ANY wire that isn't pliable is a future hazard, if it cracks when it bends, replace it.

When you are repairing damage or previous owner stupidity, make sure you use solder.

Now isolating the problem and fixing it may seem like the way to go, but you will find that if you do the above it will save you a lot of work and worry. Just imagine a shorted wire taking off like a burning fire cracker fuse and melting your entire harness and smoking the whole thing (i have seen it). Once you visualize this you will find your patience.

There are some great wiring schematics on this site. Be sure you reference the color code chart cause it will tell you what the wire is for (link below) This was most helpful for me.

After you do this you will never be scared of a wire again!

The soldering iron below works awesome!
