So I bought a 1972 house in TN to go with the 1972 Ford truck.

It has a pad that an RV was being parked on, I plan to pour concrete on it and build a shop.

Other than that, not much going on...

Added an Oil Pressure Gauge

Image

Holley Stand Alone Gauge 26-601 - Don't worry I straightened it up after this picture.

Also Note I could not fully tighten the mounting band because the gauge quit sweeping if i did. I may go back and remove the rubber.

I used a Dakota Digital Adapter 130071 to maintain the oil pressure light.

You could also use the Scott Drake C20Z-9B339-DP - but i had issues with it leaking and did not care for how long and heavy it is, it might be a better option for a SBF though. Check / Chase the threads if you use it.

And a little teaser for what's next.

Need some light if traveling at night:

Replaced all bulbs with Holley's RetroBright.

I have too many exterior lights and street lights to get you a good picture, but they are a large step up, and I got the "Classic White".

The only gotcha is that you need a LED compatible flasher with a polarity reversing adapter (or make jumpers to reverse polarity)

You need for a 1972 anyway:

7" round headlights

1157 Amber for the front turn signal/park lights
1157 Red for the Rear Brake and Turn
1156 White for the Reverse Lamps
194 For the bedside markers.

When possible using LEDs you should use a bulb the color of the lens over it.

Alright, so:

A while back i decided to investigate a mild ticking (Mrs Duckryder says I am deaf, maybe she's right.) and found one of the rocker adjusters laying in the head. Apparently i did not tighten it of did not tighten it well.

Some further investigation found the corresponding rocker shagged.

I tried to buy just one and could find anyone with a good one. Was able to sell them to someone who needed some shafts and parts.

This did have the benefit of finally letting me put PBF valve Covers on.

Now to tidy some wiring and start cleaning.

I'm cautiously optimistic of making it to ford fest.
