1972 F250 Highboy - Project Mostly Complete :D

Post by ChevyToughRebel »

Roughly 15 years later from when I bought it off my Uncle for $300, the truck project is mostly done and I have driven it a few times. Still have some bugs to work out and a few things to finish up. I built it to use and not for show, so it's definitely not perfect, but overall I am pretty happy with the outcome. This is the first project I have done and I have learned a lot along the way, there are many things I would do differently if I were to do this again!

Engine: 429 Thunderjet, C8VE heads, .020" over, Autolite 4100 1.12, upgraded cam
Transmission: ZF S5-42
T-case: Dana 24
Front axle: Dana 44 open knuckle, Trac-Loc, 3.73 gears
Rear axle: Dana 60, Trac-Loc, 3.73 gears

Feel free to ask any questions. I will post a couple of pictures below as well as a link to the google album I have put together thus far with more pics and videos to be added later on.
