F. coil springs not identical?

Post by jzjames »

I was reading some posts saying the front coil springs on a F100 2wd are different. One shorter than the other, possibly one heavier weight coils than the other.

I’m troubleshooting the positive camber I have on the pass. side and wondering if the mechanics who did my kingpins job might have switched the springs on reassembly.

Anyone know? :hmm:

Yes I even remember Keith posting that the coils are of different height.
I'm pretty sure if memory serves me right that Ford compensated for the power steering and brakes making the DS the taller height? :hmm:
