Suggestion for wheel option

Post by KulpFarm »

Looking for 16” wheels are larger for my F100. I’m planning on adding front disc brake and it require larger rim. I was hoping to find a craigslist deal to get me by. What is everyone running from other vehicles? Don’t care if I need spacer or adapter to make it work.

Thanks in advance

I'm using Dodge truck wheels. I think it was a late 80s-early 90s model. Also, Dodge and Jeep trucks/midsize cars are 5x5.5 lug patterns. Only real variations are offset/backspace. Toyota trucks are also 5.5" (139.5mm) although newer ones are mostly 6 lug.

I found a pristine set of 18” Shelby rims that fit 2005-14 Mustangs wheels. With adapters, would these fit or could someone school me in how to measure. 4” backspace with 30mm offset

I just put 18" mustang wheels on mine with some adapter to go from 5x5.5 to 5x4.5.
