1970 F350 Dually wheels
Hey guys looking for info on wheel interchange. My 70 Dually still has the lock ring style wheels on it...you know the ones that can kill you when trying to change a tire The four on the back are already swapped out with some normal wheels...guy I got it off of said they came off a dodge..but he didn't recall what year. And sadly I have not found any info on the dually wheels on here...or google for the early trucks. So any info would be appreciated!

You need coined rims and at least two acorn nuts to center the rim onto the hub. Then torque the newer washer style nut to 90ftlbs or whatever is labeled on the washer. Dodge rims from '93 or earlier will work.

The coined wheels are getting awful hard to find. Just did yet another run through the junk yards down here - and came up empty handed again. I'm short of four, not including a spare.

Google coined wheel so you know what you are looking for. On the newer Dodges they are hiding under the new washer nuts.

Guys I had an ebay lead on new, (aftermarket) coined rims.
I'd bought two of them for my 71' when I was building it.
Give me a few days and I'll try to dig up the vendor for them.

The wheel you're seeking is part number ""x45399"".
Google that (in quotes) and you'll find a few available. They can be expensive. (Up to around $250 each). However sometimes they are found cheaper.
I just ordered two on Amazon for about $113 a piece.
Whatever you find, It must be a lug-centric coined wheel, with enough hole to fit over the rear axle housing as well as with the correct wheel offset to allow you to run duals with 7.50x16 or 235/85/16 tires.
DON'T try to run newer type non-coined hub-centric wheels. (Though it's tempting, they're readily available and cheap!).
Good-luck!
