Is yours manual steering? If so, I have a perfect steering box removed from my 69 with 25,000 original miles. I removed it to install power steering. This is not a junkyard part, rather clean and painted. Comes with pitman arm.

The outer seals are easily replaced. If the box is working normally but just leaking, I’d just fix the leak.

My output shaft leaked, blew the snap ring off, replaced the seals and it just kept blowing the snap ring off. I assume the piston seal was leaking also. It's still laying on the floor waiting to be taken apart.BobbyFord wrote:The outer seals are easily replaced. If the box is working normally but just leaking, I’d just fix the leak.

Great news. Thanks Yes, it’s the seal on the top where the steering shaft connects to the box. The box works great. Just the leak.BobbyFord wrote:The outer seals are easily replaced. If the box is working normally but just leaking, I’d just fix the leak.

Just replaced all the seals in mine, power steering ford box. Not difficult and seal kit was only $13.
