Power Steering - Bendix?

Post by gte619n »

Hey fellas, I've got a quick question. Patty Pistachio has developed a leak in the exhaust header and that's just no way for such a lady to be driving around town. I'm going to swap in some shorty headers, namely the Sanderson FF427 units. I've been looking around and, both on the forums and on Summit, people are indicating an issue with the Bendix power steering box.

I've got a 1970 F100 Ranger with power steering, does my truck have a Bendix box? How could I tell from a visual inspection?

Thanks!
