Steering linkage

Post by BLACKWATERFORGE »

Doing power steering swap.
1972 F-250 with dual piston brake calipers.
Bought redheads steering gear.
Truck had 4-speed so steering column was correct length.
Bought steering column bracket for power steering.
Bought pitman arm for power steering.
Are the tie rod, tie rod end and drag link different for power steering?
Thank You!

They are not. Simoly bolt your pitman arm to current drag link and away you go. I did this swap on my 69 250 15 years ago. That and adding a PB booster was the best mods I could've done
