Front drum or disc brakes? If you've bench bled the MC first then the brakes themselves good, (starting at the farthest point the PS rear wheel-ending up on the closest wheel the DS front wheel) it sounds like the brake differential valve will need recentered.
There is a method of loosening I believe the back bleeders first to do this-but I'm not 100% positive on the method so I'll let someone else explain it.
Here's the different type of valves used , (so you can ID it):

Since the search function here on the website hasn't worked in a very...long time now it makes it hard to find answers sometimes!

But I found a way around it, (the search fault "feature") here's what your looking for:

It seems we are suppose to remove the brake warning light and use a "tool" to keep the valve centered when bleeding. I'd gotten by without doing this for many years-here is the tool NPD sells to keep the valve centered while bleeding on page 28:

Jeff
thank you for your help. lots of good info. I have the valve off and cant get the piston out, stuck big time.
I afraid to get to rough with it being brass beating on it. I cant find where to buy another one. maybe I will eventually get it out.
surely someone makes a replacement. much appreciated.......steve
