LOWERING THE FRONT ON AN F-100

Post by radioactivelarry »

I think I read somewhere that you can use Bronco front springs on an F-100 to lower the front a bit. Does anyone know about this or is there another way without heating or cutting the coils.

I would like to drop it a bit, maybe 2 inches or so but not gangster style. Just enough to look cool and still be able to go over speed bumps without scrapping my new chrome bumper!

All responses will be appreciated....

I put the Crown 2 inch lowering springs on mine and had the beams bent to realign the camber. Rides great. Just enough to take the gap out above the tire when looking at it from the side. Just don't forget to trim the bump stops first. I also recommend adding an Addco or similar swaybar to the front. Easy install and helps handling a lot.
