CPP 400 series power steering box - what fuild should I use

Hello!

Putting power steering on my 54 f100 that has a 5.0 out of 84 mustang. Im going with a stock 84 ford power steering pump and the 400 series cpp box.

Whats the best fluid to use that will meet the needs for both pieces of equipment? I dont want to use something that will be great for one and not the other.

What does the spec say for a '54? Probably 30wt oil. The 84 will run on most PS fluids or trans fluid. I would avoid synthetics since they tend to make leakers out of old boxes.
