Front Frame Swap

How easy would it be to cut the front off an 81-86 Ford F-150 frame and weld it to the back half (Cab and back) 68 frame? I know the frame widths might be different but can it be done ??

Well anything can be done. My question is whats your goal here by doing this I view the twin i beam of the early years is superior to the 80-96 different length beams. Just curious what your trying to get to here

I was thinking that the 80s disc brakes wouldn't bolt on the 68 suspension and I would also have the power steering in place. Maybe too much work for the trouble but just checking my options.

Why don't you just get the disc brake components for a '68? I got the brackets and dust shields from a junk yard, and new/rebuilt calipers, rotors, hardware, etc. It all bolted up to my existing axles/suspension/etc.
