I purchased this 71 F100 about two years ago, the back end was lowered some and it did have Dream Beams but it was eating tires bad so I put the stock I beams back on, new king pins etc. As far as I know the front springs are old but unmolested. The tires in the pictures are about a years worth of daily driving. As you can see in the pictures I'm getting some tire wear on the outside edges, more on the drivers side than the passenger side. I think this has to do with the camber setting, correct?
I used a digital machinist level to measure the camber:
This is the drivers side which has the worst wear with wires showing, camber is +.9*
This is the passenger side, camber is -.45*
Manual says Optimum setting is +1* yet I'm getting worse wear on the side that is closest to correct. Just looking for some insight on why I'm getting this tire wear.
Picture just to show ride height:

Re: Tire Wear-Camber
It could be a toe problem, if its toed in it could cause this.

Re: Tire Wear-Camber
I just checked it and you're correct, I had a 1/4 inch toe in. I did a "shade tree" alignment, so we'll see...
