Will these tires fit on my stock rims and suspension ?? 315 75 r16 (35x12.50 R16) or would I have to change rims and suspension ??
Thanks, Dog_River

Re: 1972 F 250 4x4 tire size question
I ran 9.00xr16s on my stock height highboy and they cleared no problem. They measured up to about a 37 inch tall tire. However, they were not 12.50 wide. So, I cannot speak for certain on the width. My quess is they would probably work. Can you test fit one?

Re: 1972 F 250 4x4 tire size question
I'm running 295-70-17's so ~11-33's and they are fine on the front, I've got a flatbed so can't comment on the rear

Re: 1972 F 250 4x4 tire size question
Hi,
I run that same size tire on my Highboy and can only address the tire from the "width" stand point as I have an additional 3 inch body lift.
These tires do scrub when making a tight right hand turn. Funny it's only when turning right as left turns are fine.

How wide are the wheels? 16x6? You probably could get them to mount but I sure wouldn't. I would use at least a 16x8 wheel for that tire. The biggest I would go would be something like a 285/75r16. But I don't know how wide the stock ones are

Re: 1972 F 250 4x4 tire size question
I ended up putting some Michelins XL 9:00 x 16". They might be a tad tight on the front and may have to re-arch the front springs.
They look great and will post some pics soon.
Thanks for all the input.

Where did you find those tires? They are hard to find. I am looking for a set.
