Well i got started on the driver side fender. its a bit worse off then the passenger side fender. lots of sanding, stripping, grinding and welding. but i got to spray some primer on it to see where else i need to "sand, strip, grind and weld" all over again

i am not a body man for sure. but there is something gratifying about doing your own body work.

it had like 5 payers of paint

oh boy rust.

found some some areas i need to smooth out.
here's all the stuff i used to strip the paint. i think i did the hard way, but the cheap way.

also i think im going to stick to the primer gray color till its time to paint the hole truck.

also anyone know hoe to pop a dent out of a grille? my 67 steal grille as a dent im perplexed on how to smooth out.
i need to take a pic of it.

No luck in parts wanted, so ill post it here and hope ill get some bites:

I need an addco front sway bar for my 68 f100 2wd. Just the bar is fine. I'm fabbing the brackets myself.

Just FYI, I'm not for sure yet. But I may have one lined up to buy. But i haven't heard back yet. So incase that falls through. I would like so see what is out there.

Still smoothing that driver side fender out Little by little. The holidays have slowed me down. I did find an addco sway bar. Haven't decided if its going on My 68 or 64.

After the fender I have a dent in the 67 grille to pop out. Kinda at A loss of how.

Then exhaust and she's road worthy.

Wow... seems our trucks had about the same consequences when meeting a guard rail.... I feel for ya, but it is satisfying doing the repairs yourself!! I'll keep up with your progress and keep posting mine as well!!

I spoke with a guy on here, his username is chicof100... he reburbishes grilles and sells them... might look him up and get some info? Mine is too far gone I think...

Well if u need a front sway bar here soon I may have one for sale. I've bought the 3 kinds of front sway bars that fit our trucks. Once I decide which one I'm using.
