Finally got around to dropping the truck some.

Did a half shakle flip on the rear. The po had cut the front coils already but I cut another chunk out of the front right just to even the front out. Much better now got that I got the rake out of it, that with new rear shocks and it drives way better.

it's the best way. if you use filler it's prone to cracking.

Thanks Phil!
I lowered the entire truck with the DJM Suspension lowering kit, which lowers it 3" in the front (Lowering I-beams), and 4" in the rear with the shackles and hangers.
But then, as I looked at the truck it just didn't look low enough for me.
So I then took two of the five leaf springs out of the rear.
I took out the second and fourth, leaving the main spring (top) along with the helper spring (bottom) with one between them both.
And it lowered the rear 2 more inches.
I then proceeded to replace my big block springs with small block (six cylinder) springs to lower the front.
However the front still wasn't level with the rear, so reluctantly I cut the front springs 1/2 coil at a time, ending up with cutting a full coil out of each side.

I am looking to run a staggered set of rims. (Torque Thrust II or Riddler 645 or Streeter ShowWheels)
18 X 8 (245/40/18) on the front
10 X 20 (295/40/20) on the rear

Did you "bow" the i-beams yourself or did you take it to a shop to do it?
