Wow don't know how I missed this build, stumbled on it from a link over on ford truck forum on the sunpro gauge swap . Just read through the whole thing, Great truck really liked your idea for the wooden bed floor, did you go with a mustang tank? how is filling up in the bed?

I'm running a Tanks Inc tank because I wanted to run a in tank fuel pump. I fill the tank through a billet fuel door in the bed floor.

What did you end up doing with your ac vents? Any pics? I know you mentioned about two in a center console. I've read the ct article a couple times like how you mounted your switches.

Where can I get those cool braided, bolt thru lines for the MC? I think I like those better than the standard looped hardline.

The brakes will throw you into the steering wheel if you don't watch it. I have not had much time to test it to much due to all this snow and junk weather this month. The braided lines and fittings came from Speedway. I used them because my stock lines didn't look good after bending them out to fit the new setup.

Tybob, I'm reading through some of the bronco hydroboost write ups, but I do not see anything mentioning modifying the BC Bronco mounting plate. What did you do to the plate / why was it needed?...or am I reading your post wrong?

I liked the way the BC bronco mounted , but the 67-77 bronco has a different firewall mounting holes so I cut it down and drilled holes. I like to research on the net, but then do it in a way that no one has done.

Ok, got it. If I didn't want to modify the bracket, would it be possible to just drill matching holes in the firewall?

Got bored with my gauges so I went with a set of Stewart Warner Wing series.


I also bought a vinyl firewall pad to cut up to fit my truck. Needs something since I changed my gas pedal due to the efi swap and all the wiring and such.

I think the plates are mainly to stiffen the firewall. if you dont want to spend the money on the bcbroncos setup you could check out this
