This is not my picture but this truck was equipped with FOM shackle you can see by the where the pad was hitting the spring from the fom shackle. The shackle just sits back further. Mine is the exact same set up.

FYI...less $$$ than others. I might do these in combination with flipping the front hangers. I like the low and level look better than a big rake.

Flipped spring hangers in the rear and added longer shackles. And cut 1.5 rounds off the front coils. The front is still a little high so I think I'll still add some dropped I beams.

That scoop came off a '69 Grand Torino, as did the 351, auto trans, steering colum, power brakes, power steering. My Grand Father did all that way back in the day. When i got the truck from an uncle it was in bad shape but its coming along nicely now.

So here are the pics of my truck with the Flex O Matic and the DJM lowering shackles. I finally un buried it and installed the flip kit while I was at it. it is finally warm enough here to start working on the truck again. I thought I should at least finally post a picture of my actual truck since the last picture was borrowed. I did have to to trim the rear most bed cross support when I put them in. Since I do not load the bed with anything other then lawn chairs and a cooler it would not be a big deal. I hope this helps. I know the frame is a mess I am going to coat with POR 15 then prime and paint.

Thanks guys. I don't think I'm going to go back with the caps and rings. I kinda like it like it is but I might go with some spider caps. And I need new tires, those are 235/75s all around.
