Here are a few pics of my truck. The first is the day I picked it up in Nashville, the rest are as I decided which way I wanted to go with it.
Next is after the drop and new engine. Plus about 30 hours of cleaning.
Finally the way it sat all summer. Its getting the FE pulled in lieu of a carbed 4.6 with a 3650 Tremec 5 speed. I hated the "Bullitt" looking wheels. Changed them up for some factory steelies and dog dishes. The rears are factory wheels widened to 10"
All of the trucks on here look great, I hope to have mine done AGAIN by the beginning of summer. I have been hoarding parts for months to get it going.

Looks good! I really like the 2nd headlights behind the grille!! Kinda gives it that Mustang GT look!
Just out of curiousity, what did you do with those 5 lug Slot Mags that were on the truck in the first picture?!?! Love those wheels!

Re: A few pics of my 70 F100
I saved the slots for a "rainy day" I will probably end up putting them on another truck one day. Thanks for the compliments guys. Now I have to decide what I'm gonna do next for rollers. Would like to keep the steelies, but the crown vic bolt circle threw a wrench into that plan . Sometime soon though I will have a pair of beams, disc conversion, and a bunch of misc parts up for grabs.

I don't think I will be able to do the modification because of the billet inserts I am running, but just for tutorial purposes, how did you go about mounting and wiring those extra headlights behind the grille? Are those wired as brights only? Or are they dual purpose like the regular headlights? I mean, I **REALLY** like what it does to the front of the truck having those behind the grille. I think it only would work with the 1970 inserts though. The 71 and 72 inserts are too thick and would take away from the look and the 67-69 grilles have too much coverage to be able to see the lights. What you did there by blacking out the grille inserts and having the lights behind them just gave me a new appreciation for the 70 front end. That is the best looking 70's front I have seen.

Re: A few pics of my 70 F100
The lights are wired to an extra dimmer switch on the floor just above the factory one. I sniped a pigtail from the boneyard and wired it to the back of the headlight switch through a relay. This way they shut off the minute the headlights do, and you can't forget they were on. I always liked the look of the Mach 1 cars, and decided mine needed the extra lights. They are just 6" Hellas from Vato zone. I too think they would look out of place on the later grille inserts, too busy looking. I used plasti dip to black out the inserts at first just to make sure I liked it, that way if I didn't I could just peel it off. They have been like that for 2 years now and haven't chipped or peeled yet. When the new engine finally makes its way into the truck I may use the spare GT hood scoop I have from my Torino on it. Or I will attempt the whole 73-79 hood conversion :/ not 100% sure what I will do yet. The original paint has seen far better days but I can't seem to bring myself to paint it. That truck earned all the dents and scratches, who am I to change it?
