This is what i did so far on my 68 F-250 CS:
- took off two leaf springs on the rear
- flip out the front bracket on the rear springs.
Now i got between 4 and 5 inches lower. Probably need to compensate for pinion angle, but need to finish lowering the front.
Probably i'm gonna need some drop shocks, or relocate the upper base for the shock absorbers...don't know yet.

For the front suspension, i'm gonna cut one or one and half rounds on each front spring and see what happens.
The ideal angle for shocks is 30 degrees. Keep that in mind when you are making your decision. You should have measured your pinion angle prior to lowering the rear. Lowering the front will not change the pinion angle in relation to the trans which is what you are looking at.

Here's the progress so far...

Front: Cut one round on each spring. It lowered 1 inch aproximate, so From 17 inches originally to 16 now.
Rear: Took off two leaf springs and flip over the front bracket. It lowered 5 inches aprox. From 19 inches to 14 now.
There's two inches difference between the front and the rear, but i can always put back the leaf springs that i took previously to correct for pinion angle.
So far i like it. :)

For real this time!! I cut 1.5 coils front off 460 springs when I did the 77 disc swap. In the rear I flipped the spring perch and rebolted with 2 closest together bolts and drilled 2 more!! Measures 1.5 taller at the center of the bump in the rear.

The mini-spear on the side, how did they do that? Is it paint, cut down trim, an aftermarket item, something else?
