Thanks! Lately I've been thinking of ditching them because of the split rims, but I like the look and it's hard to find a 34" tall skinny tire to replace it. We'll see....

Thanks! I've always liked the tight look of the sport bumper and had a brand new one when I bought this truck, so on it went. I'm also a fan of rear exit exhaust with big honkin' tips, so the sport bumper let me keep it up tight so it's not hanging too low.

Well this is sort of work related. Pull up to give an estimate and my client pulls in with this. A 1960 Chevy Station wagon. He drives this 7-9K a year. Great condition and truly unique. I love it

heres another one of mine. I had 4 oxygen bottles torches and other random crap in the bed. With me and dad the truck weighs around 4900lbs including the bottles and stuff. Anyway there is a sawmill about 2 miles from my house on all small backroads. My dad wanted to go and see about some prices. He decided to buy some lumber and it was a little heavier than expected especially since we loaded it all to the drivers side. The bottles were to keep the wood in the bed lol. I was grossing around 6000lbs in my little wore out truck. lol.

That is just plain abuse. You are hereby ordered to turn your truck over to the authorities & it shall remain with said authorities until you complete the required counseling classes in hopes you learn the proper way to treat your truck. If you are unable to complete said counseling your truck will be turned over to the foster care system in the north. Yep a d$%^ yankee will get it!

He had to get a kick out of you showing up in the bump as well. I have always liked that period Impalas. El Caminos, Wagons, sedan deliveries, & Impalas. I like the horizontal fins.

Look at that flex in the frame. The rear tires are ready to burst, the front tires are floating and I can see daylight between them and the road. And the frame is twisted like a pretzel. Ford had you in mind when they over-built these trucks. Let's see a Chevy stand up and survive a job like that.

lol, when I got home and unloded it I checked the drivers back tire and it had 15psi in it. I have thought about selling the bump and buying something else but never had any decent offers. The funny thing is when I got the truck in 2008 I babied it rarely hauled stuff in it and always seemed to be working on it. About 2 years ago I started using it as a worktruck and not worring about it and it has been earning its keep.

My truck is my sanctuary when I am on security watch for the shipping co I work for. Its fun trying to find stations on my AM radio to listen to.

Good morning KRob,

I agree with Rich; those are fantastic photos. I love the one at the bottom with the trees and the lake.

Your Bump sure looks like it handled that load well. How much weight was that?
