I am wrestling with hammering the lid on our truck. This truck is one of those that really sways me to the "do it" side of the fence.

1968 swb hydroboost, ididit tilt column, Saginaw p/s pump with F series serpentine, all led lights, Vintage Air and painless wiring. 393w, tko600. CV front suspension w/c5 calipers and gt500 rotors. Stock Flexomatic leaf springs with 01 CV 8.8, 3.90 gears and Auburn locker. Custom wood bed floor. Full frame off resto-mod.

Here are a few pics of my baby girl.

1 1/2 out of front coils and rear shackle flip. Yes those are Chevy rear fenders. They are there in anticipation of bagging the rear.

man i gotta get something happenning on getting my truck out of the clouds..these dropped trucks are real nice.

i dont have the fab skills required for a project like that but i do know of somebody real local whose a champ at these bumps and modifying them.. :hmm: whats your fee for a suspension install like that? i would subcontract you to do the job for me :D

I don't have the room for it but if you can find a place I can give you a hand to do the front and rear suspension. :thup:

I would definitely take him up on this offer. You will be amazed at the difference it will make in your truck. Worth every penny!

i might be know a place where i can make this happen. what would you say is the downtime for a project like this..i think i could do most everything like the drilling/ measuring and what not. its the welding and metal fab like brackets and such that get me nervous.

For someone with decent automotive experience it can be done in a weekend but you have to have all the pieces you require to make that happen
