Sure enough. I got her stripped to metal and primed this past weekend. Woohoo!!!! Feels like progress.
Looks like another good site here for sure.

Your grandfather was quite innovative. Before his time really, Here we clearly see him testing his new theories about the very controversial "bearded man" propulsion systems. Many alternate fuel engines were being explored during the 70's during the gas crunch...

Rich, I had the same thought when I saw that profoundly classic photo!
Also, that innovation for convenient newspaper reading in traffic's cool, but I'll bet sticking one's head out the window while driving may have been too uncomfortable to keep up for long.
