Re: Post your 4X4 pictures HERE!!
Actually, The rear is bone stock. The front had some sag to it when I bought it in 93' and so I had one of the local spring companies build a set of front springs that leveled it out. So, no lift and the tires are 33" on 16.5's.

Thansk guys. Think she'll look OK with some 16.5x9.75 steelies. Can't decide if I want to go with black or white rims. The alum looks good but I get tired of trying to keep em clean. I think the powdercoated steel wheels would be much less maintenance.

Ill get some better pictures of it. I just walked out of the bus shop and flipped my phone open and snapped a few. Survivor is a great way to describe what its been through. Thanks for the feedback!
KS your truck looks way nicer than a beater! I really want to put marker lights on the roof of mine like you have.
Northerndave I really look forward to following your progress with your truck. I love the vintage pictures you have of it. its a great way to see how these trucks ran around back in the day!

Re: Post your 4X4 pictures HERE!!
Alright guys, I'm new, I've had my 71 for 3 days, and I'm "by guess and by gosh"- ing my way through getting it running right. Also, I've never been on a forum before so my pic posting ability is... sub par? But for what it's worth, here's what I've nailed down so far:
1)1971 ford f 250 highboy. 2) 360, 4 speed, 4.10's. 3) 36/14.50-16.5 tires and a 2" home-built square tube and spacer body lift. 4)Needs a ring job, but ran 35 miles on the highway on 3 dead cylinders at 50 mph.
My budget is "none" and my mechanical experience is "enthusiastic beginner". I may post a build thread if only to provide some comic relief...

My buddy's rig. We need to park on each others tire for a good group shot
It was ordered from Ford for some canada pipeline stuff i guess. The VIN isn't the usual VIN. Has some weird things on it.
Now on 37" military take offs.
this is my friend's dad's f100 4x4. on coilovers.
