Almost done. It will be my DD in less than 2 weeks.

The #1 thing that I was surprised on when rebuilding the entire chassis was the t-case bushigns. You guys might want to check yours out, might be worth spending a day replacing them. The other bushings on the truck were in pretty good shape but the t-case bushings were done for. No one ever thinks of replacing them because you never see them.

Thanks
I've been doing all the highboy work myself, but my dad/brother help with the body lifting and dad helps work on the race truck.

My 1969 F250 4WD:

Image

Its a scanned pic from 20 years ago. I still own the truck today, and currently it is about 95% done on a body-off-frame complete over-restoration after I rolled it over. Powered by a 440 Chrysler and 727 trans. 8' stepside bed is the original. Factory optional grille guard is from my dad's 1967 2WD F250 he ordered brand new.

I own three other 67-72 ford trucks, but they are all 2WD.
owner of several 67-72 as well as 73-79 Ford trucks

Wanted: Parts for my 1930 Dodge coupe project - the DD model was built in 1930 and 1931

That dash is incredible!! How did you make the eye brows in the top of the cluster? Metal work then re-chrome?

Hey thanks for the compliment. I used some old (believe it or not) metal tiki torches that were cones, and cut pieces of them to fit. Then I cut up the F600 dash and used a high tensile strength epoxy glue to hold it together. Once I finish smoothing it out I am going to paint it a metallic gray.
