http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =2&t=45427 It's a magazine dedicated to old Ford trucks. This is one of their long term project trucks, and I assume Manny is the owner and an editor for the mag. It's pretty cool!4x4freakfe427 wrote:Whats true blue magazine? I have never heard of this. fireguywtc, your truck reminds me of mine when i bought it,white with a grab bar on the side of the cab. but hope you dont have the rust mine had in it. I see theres a ranger emblem on the bed, is the truck a ranger or just the doner bed ? Nice looking truck BTW, what are your plans for it ?

Re: Post your 4X4 pictures HERE!!
Thanks hazelnut, the bed is a doner bed, but the truck is a ranger and has the wood grain stuff inside with factory A/C. The truck is a So Cal truck and rust free except a little cancer I found on the kick panels where it meets the floor. I have yet to pull up the floor mats to see under there. The rest of it, including the cab mounts and corners, fenders and doors are perfect.
My plans at the moment is to get it back into driving condition. I need to get the front end suspension fixed up, as well as getting all the lights and horn working again. After I get it drivable, I will start working on the luxuries. I think I am just going to ditch the trim since its messed up and paint it all white, bumpers black.
Beyond that I plan on driving it, working it, and using it as a hunting truck.

Here's Tweetie Bird!!! I think I need some deeper wheels after looking over some of these pics. Needs: doors, fenders, 36's, dashpad delete, motor rebuild, and bedliner. then I think I oughta be able to put dat mean ol' poody tat in it's place.

Heres my 71 when it was still some what straight. Its not any more. I paid $150 for this truck, and I changed the bad 390 to an Amc 360 and the ford 4speed and dana21 are still kicking I added a 4" lift and running 33" boggers on the front and 31x15.50x15 tractor tires on the back. I have about $400 into this truck and it is fun truck to tear on.
