WOW! nice looking work! I have to keep asking, where do you guys keep finding trucks that arn't rusted through? Every time I look at a part on my bump it's get rid of the rust , then do what I set out to do. Enough of my complaining , this is about your truck.
Excellent work .I can't wait to see more.

Great work dude, great tips for all of us thanks soooo much. You will be so pleased when you look back when you are older and tell your kids look what i did when i was your age. Now a days kids don't do any thing accomplishable. You will be a person that will always be doing something and not one that waits for things to get done..

Re: 69 F100 Ranger project- 11/30 stripping/por-15
stripped/por-15'd underbed tank parts, rest of rearend, and whatever im forgetting.
installed underbed tank/skid plate
this thing wasnt fun to install
new bling bling yo
new shocks
cleaned old brake and fuel lines. one of the metal fuel lines didnt pass my inspection, its got a real thin spot on it so i need a new one of them badboys.
im going to order pads for between the leaves and bushing kits for the rear suspension so i can get wheels back there again. and i need to find a front disk brake setup so i can have a rolling chassis.

Re: 69 F100 Ranger project- 11/30 stripping/por-15
Lookin' good. You are doing a very thorough job. I do worry about the only rust you found, on the radiator support. That rust came from the inside. If you don't cut it out completely, it will continue to rust from the inside where you couldn't apply POR15. Might be worth the trouble to do it now, while you have easy access. I really wish I could be working on mine like that!

Re: 69 F100 Ranger project- 11/30 stripping/por-15
Great job! That Por-15 stuff looks awesome. I have to install a under cab tank into my 68 . I robbed all the parts off my 72. I forgot to take pics so I hope I remember how they go back together. It looks to be a pain with the bed installed but I took the old one out with the bed on so it should work.
I have to ask though, why is the 1/2 ton the tow vehicle and the 3/4 ton the racer? I'd think it'd be the other way around.

Re: 69 F100 Ranger project- 11/30 stripping/por-15
thanks.
yeah, its weird having the f100 the show truck and the f250 the racer. but i decided to build a race truck after i allready did tons of work to the 69 to make it pretty. the 69 isnt exactly the tow vehicle, my dads tahoe will most likely being doing that. but it will tow it sometimes.
