Can't say no to that right? Keep up the work Ryan.

If you keep this up and learn well at work and get in trade school for welding if its what you want, you can go far!

I may be stealing one of you ideas soon if the Bethany police department lets me enclose the carport with tarps. I'm tired of having to put everything back togather when rain is coming.
PS where is our updates we want more!!!!

Looking good.

Do you have access to a welder to atach that support? Do you want it to be factory looking or just functional?

yea about the grades, when im working at school i think of how im kinda working on my bump, in that i wont be grounded or anything preventing bump-working-oning time :D

there will be an update on sunday, that is when i always update because ive done a weekend's worth of work.

my boss is bring the welding truck over soon, and im going to have about like 10 more holes welded up, and my boss has a bumpside bed hes going to scrap, so were going to cut the support of that bed, and weld it on to my bed. it will functional and factory looking i hope :D

hey ryan if the end caps are in good shape on the scrapped bed do you think your bos would cutting them off leaving about 2" past the seam?

here is what i need from both sides. if only one side is good that's fine i'll take that side. probably shippable for 20 bucks.

actualy i thought about that and maybe easier to grab the whole thing. The end cap is the area the tail lights mount to as you look at the back of your bed from the sides thats the area past the vertical seam.

i'm thinking i need 2" past the seam to make it easier to patch. thats the worst rust on my bed.

bought this paint/rust stripper pad. it strips very well, but doesnt last too long. it lasts long enough to almost do one half of the cab floor:
Image
Image
and then it wears out like this, and then you cant use it because of the grinders middle bolt, but i am impressed with this thing

got alot more room in the garage with some re-arrangements. put some big stuff outside that can get wet without rusting:
