B termanal

whats the b termanal on my starter solenoid do? should it be hooked up?

right now i have it so that there's the S termanal is switched on and off by a switch in my truck. and my B termanal isn't hooked up.


good? bad? doesn't matter?

there should be only one wire to the starter and that is the wire from the back side of the solinoid. unless you have a mini statre then it will be different

it should be laying there what isnt hooked up thats the wire that needs to go on there. the brown one goes on the front terminal and i think it red or yellow that goes on the other. it should be in the full scehmatics for your year of truck.

Yeah, that's the brown wire.

It's the ignition resistor bypass so the coil gets full battery voltage when the engine cranks over.
